Major wars in the world ended with international conferences, and the same will happen nowadays after the beginning of chaos in the West. This assumption was made by Russian public figure, economist and publicist Mikhail Khazin in the project "In Theme" on the YouTube channel of BelTA.
"The rapid growth rate of economic problems and the destruction of the Bretton Woods dollar system, not so much in the financial part as in the political part, indicate that two or three years are left. Although five years ago it was impossible to say that what is happening will happen within a decade", – the Russian economist thinks.
Mikhail Khazin notes that the logic of the events taking place today was described about 20 years ago, but, as the expert emphasises, the theory says nothing about time. If at first the processes described in the literature were much slower than desired, today they are developing very quickly.
Why the change of borders in Eastern Europe is an objective necessity, the expert explained
"If you look at the history of major world wars, you will see that they always ended with international conferences, which decided how to live on. There will be such a conference for sure. The question is who will participate in it. It is already clear that the European Union will not be among the participants," the Russian economist points out.
Previously, Mikhail Khazin was inclined to believe that an international conference to resolve the issue of peace could have taken place as early as 2023. This would have happened, the expert argues, if the US presidential election in 2020 had been won by Donald Trump.
"There were hopes that the conference would prevent chaos, but now it's clear that it will be after Western chaos has begun. Do you feel sorry for them? I don't," the Russian public figure declares./MPF/
